Description

To provide participants with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to safely handle, store, and operate oxygen and acetylene equipment in industrial environments, with a strong emphasis on hazard awareness, regulatory compliance, and the prevention of fire, explosion, and equipment failure during hot work activities.

Objectives.

• Understand the properties and hazards of oxygen and acetylene gases.

• Demonstrate proper storage and handling procedures for gas cylinders

• Operate regulators, torches, and hoses safely and efficiently.

• Recognize and respond to backfires, flashbacks, and other hazards.

• Apply correct PPE and general safety practices when using gas equipment
